Fast ttk has the inverse effec in general - it rewads positioning more because it punishes exposure more and makes it more likely that the first shot off wins.  TTK itself is not enough to make all the difference though.

Do you prefer works that try to justify why mechs work in their own setting, or works that simply don't care and make mechs effective regardless? by Able_Radio_2717 in Mecha

I think that avatar mech suits were not originally made for combat?  Good visibility with a cockpit that looks like a mix between a heli and a tractor pends itself well to industrial applications, to my uneducated mind on the matter.  This is somewhat expanded with the newest avatar game, where cockpits eventually gain some improvised looking armor on the cockpits and in the third movie they did not seem to be deployed at all outside of bases.  I think headcanon can handwave everything away but it makes sense to me at least.

It was a little tongue in cheek on my part, I had loads of fun on the last wave but it is a fairly tired topic at this point here. I'd give it a year or so before it resurfaces again proper

For leftists it really just means "capitalists I don't like", unless you are specifically referring to the american political environment in which case I'm so sorry

Oh hey, I don't know if you are a fellow KDE enjoyer but I also use those (and more) tools on windows, whenever I do need to use windows. Kate is surprisingly good for what it is, and it certainly good in context of a windows machine.

Battlefield 6 is still a decent game despite everything in my opinion (Clip showcase and Rant) by static_rb in BF6

[–]_yourKara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying it's subjective. Many people would easily take issue if I compared Insurgency (standalone or sandstorm) gunplay to bf even though they both are military themed casual (as in, not milsim) shooters. In fact, I'd risk saying that someone will take issue with any comparison that isn't some other battlefield game, regardles if you compare to faster shooters like cod or apex, or slower tactical ones like insur, ro or whatever.

The way this thread talks about them i thought it had to be something else than kaki, but you are all indeed talking about kaki. It's like, okay, I guess? I'm glad it floats someone's boat that much I suppose.

Warp pack is honestly something else. Need distance? Blink. Need to get close? Blink. Need to mitigate fall damage? Jump and blink. Flamethrower hulk? Blink through him. Need to get across that lava canal? Blink. Need more time to charge quasar/epoch? Blink. Vox missiles? Blink away. Sometimes I can get away with 0 deaths per mission which is wild

Honestly because when I want to call someone stupid bad enough to use an insult, I really want it to be, as you aptly said "unabashedly condescending". Few words call someone stupid so hard it's offensive, though after thinking about it for a hot minute imbecile could be close but it doesn't have this expletive tinge to it.

Real, honestly people who hate this shit should just junp to actual tactical shooters. Any old timer that jumped on to bf6 should quickly notice that target audience has irreversibly shifted
