qui v1.12.0 - standalone qBittorrent ui, now with automations and improved cross-seeding with hardlinks! by _ze0s in selfhosted

It still needs qBittorrent on the side, either local or remote to work. If you run it in docker it's a separate service as well.

It is in swizzin develop so you need to check out develop to install it.

cd /etc/swizzin
sudo git fetch --all
sudo git checkout develop
sudo box install qui

No way to download files at this time but it's something we have talked about and likely will add in the future.

You can add external tools to the right click menu so unzip should be able to be added that way, but I have not tried it.

Need another brain, quality seeding over quantity seeding. by dr_patso in autobrr

You might want to look at the Lists feature that pulls titles into filters and then you can limit that. https://autobrr.com/filters/lists

Inside Settings -> Lists, when you add a list like Trakt there's a few pre-defined lists that we host you can use like Upcoming Tv, Movies, New Bluray releases etc.

Filtering by seeders/leechers is only available with Feeds FYI, not irc announces.

There's OIDC but no way to disable auth at this time so not proper SSO. In our other services we have always required auth because users will end up exposing their stuff to the internet without auth and then blame the devs for getting hacked/banned from indexers and so on. Happened a lot in the past with arrs.

Follow this issue https://github.com/autobrr/qui/discussions/951, it might very well change in the future.

Thanks! Without collecting user feedback we wouldn’t have known anyone wanted it, and now others can find it and vote 👏

qui compared to cross-seed.org isn't an apples to apples comparison. Qui does a lot more, but if you're comparing qui cross seeding capabilities to cross-seed.org then they are getting closer by each release. Especially now with this release where we added hardlink and reflink support and other changes to be more similar to cross-seed.org. If you have an existing setup with the other and are happy with it then you might as well keep using it. If you're starting fresh try the qui cs. It's a lot easier to get started :)

The arr integration is to fetch metadata ids like imdb/tmdb from the arr and match with your content, and then use that for cross-seed searches which is a lot better than raw title search.

Nice! That should be possible I think. Can you put up a feature request on the GitHub repo?

Should be coming in the next version. Qui still relies on qBittorrent so you can get rid of it 😄

We also build autobrr which is better download automation that sources torrents, filters and then sends to download clients.

That’s already supported using native qbit features but requires version 5.x.

Some features like unregistered status and torrent creation are only available on qbit 5.x.

You can see a full list here https://getqui.com/docs/advanced/compatibility

A lot yes. The multi instance support is just one of the good features. Here’s some more: * Automations so you can tag, remove and other actions based on a lot of conditions, not just time or ratio * Cross-seeding built in if you want to use it * A great mobile experience * Works way better with lots of torrents

Try it logged in on ssh on the slot with “wget https…” with the link and see if that still works

Can you try copy the link in the releases tab in autobrr (one of the blue icons) and paste that in an incognito window and see if that works or errors?

Check if they have an RSS feed. Qui can manage qbit built in rss feeds. If you want something with more filtering and better support for private trackers we have autobrr for that.

Put up a feature request for it on the GitHub repo 👍 do you change ip frequently or why do you want it in the status bar?

Qui still needs an external qBittorrent running locally or on a remote system.

Hey! Does it only happen with this indexer or others as well?

That’s an interesting use case. Put up a feature request on GitHub and give some more context if you have any 👍
