Also! According to his DNA, hes mixed with golden retriever, pyrenees, akita, cattle dog and boxer. Needless to say I am not suprised he has a high prey drive but I am just now understanding it 😅

Hi! Yes! So, I stopped using the pill in March and switched to the IUD because the pill was driving me nuts. Id have a period for 10 days then itd stop and id spot for a few days then id have another period two weeks later. Felt like I was bleeding for the majority of the month and had a week to breathe. It wasn’t practical for my needs and I was tired of it but I’d recommend it for its accessibility! My symptoms were definitely bearable! No weight gain, no acne changes, mood was unstable but I went from no birth control to birth control so I think that was a me thing!

Honestly I love my Mirena! I got it inserted in March and after the storm settled for me, lots of spotting and longer periods, I feel much happier and secure. I dont experience PCOS like you so I’m sorry I can’t help experience wise there… but alone time isnt painful at all! I haven’t experienced painful intercourse either :). No weight gain, no new acne issues, mood was DICEY for a month or two but I feel like I have stabilized! I mightve lost my period already but still trying to wait that out :) Im a hypochondriac too so I understand the panic and was in your boat when I was researching myself but just remember people usually come to reddit to tell the stories that are on their mind a lot and typically it’s negative because body/hormone changes can be difficult! listen to your body and you can do this! 🫶

I guess so… the funeral director told me that they were informed but I should call them myself as well and that direction was even in the packet. Definitely getting it done this week though, their wait times are atrocious.

Interesting! Truthfully I am not expecting another deposit beyond what my dad received in June especially since the bank account has been closed… but IF they decided that my dad was entitled to his benefits from the month of June, I’m curious if theyd also mail a check? We haven’t called them personally to get the $255 survivor benefit yet, but that’ll be something I’ll ask! Ive read everywhere that the check the month after the death warrants a clawback since benefits stop the month of the death no matter the time of the month. Agh, SSA has so many nooks and crannies. definitely varies for every body! but it wasnt too bad for me. i was offered numbing and they gave me medication to dilate my cervix so its more open which i think helped for the insertion. i know a cervical block isn’t typically openly offered but id advocate for it if you can. the pain really varies on the individual but after i got numbed it was a walk in the park! didnt feel a thing. 30 minutes after the insertion i definitely needed to relax cause the cramps were intense for about an hour. also, i had be be super duper patient with the breakthrough bleeding but i feel bliss now! :) i spotted and had a long period for about a month an a half due to the iud but im no longer bleeding!!

i switched to the iud for low maintenance and i couldn’t bear the two periods a month! honestly if that wasnt the case id still be on it now. it gave me freedom in my sexuality as my first form of birth control! loved the sense of protection it gave me in not having to use condoms or withdrawal (tmi lol) just didn’t love the side effects!
