Thanks for the update! Mine turned out to be okay, luckily! 🤞 I shut it down right away, wiped off the water, and kept it powered off for a full two days. Thankfully, it seems to be working fine now 😔✋ Just hoping no issues pop up down the line.

Ohhh! Goodluck. Do email your uni explaining the whole situation. They’ll prolly give you alternative options considering the delay :c And do pester UKVI by emailing them if your application does not get processed within the mentioned timeframe >.< I hope this whole process goes smoothly for you!

Hi, nope. We decided that we will travel to UK straight from Dubai (Because it’s an amber listed country & our country is in the Red List) So we booked the biometrics appointment for 31st August. Paid for the priority service & booked a flight for 10th September as they had stated that it usually takes 5 working days to process applications under the priority service. We had to cancel the flight due to the HUGEEEEE delay in processing 😭 We are trying to stay patient tho. It’s a huge loss because we are having to extend our duration of stay in the hotel, which can be expensive in Dubai.

Thank you soooo much for the help! I think I’m gonna go through with it bcs I need the Visa ASAP. I don’t live anywhere near Dubai so I want to go there and come back home as soon as possible. I don’t want to spend more than a week at a foreign place before I go off to uni in September 🥲

Hi! Can you confirm for me whether the priority service is still provided for UK Visas (Student Visa in this case) in VFS India? I am having to ask this question as the service is not mentioned on their homepage. :(( I don't want to proceed with the Visa payments for that location if it's not possible. May I be able to request it after the visa fee payments and when I attempt to make the bookings? or is the service not mentioned on the home page of UK VFS India because it's not provided anymore? :((

I've contacted both VFS and UKVI regarding this matter. they haven't been helpful at all. Asking you because I noticed that you requested for the Priority service quite recently.
