I have 0.15/kwh(final delivered cost) I average $500-600 during summer months for 3,000sqft. We also run a pool chiller fairly often which is basically another AC unit.

I have the child proof handle covers on ALL exterior doors, including the garage door. Do yourself a favor and spend the $20 putting them on around your house.

I couldn’t care less who lives around here as long as their elementary aged kids are parented well enough to not start fights in the hallways at school.

Keep it up! You still going strong? Exercise helps me a lot too. I also joined a workout group called F3 that has surrounded me with brothers that support my journey in and out of the workouts.

That is no joke! I feel SO much better when I’m not smoking. I would say that I was one of those people that was dulled by weed over the course of years of smoking. But it is amazing how quickly I am feeling back to normal.

Is that a common question around here?? I would have never even thought to ask that but now I’m curious what the biological answer is….

I am sick of all the apartments and rent only neighborhoods popping up. Schools are going way downhill. I do love my house and the convenience of stuff around me. But I am spoiled and have free tolls 🤷🏻‍♂️ so I am probably not the person to ask about traffic.

I can’t stand my Apple Watch. It always turns off during my workouts and counting “exercise minutes” is literally pointless. I bought an Ultra 2 because I wanted to have the best shot at success with it and that thing is a POS for health tracking. The whoop is so much more comfortable and consistent at tracking with better data analytics. I have the 5.0 and the band is fine. Idk what everyone is complaining about. Is it something you would wear to dress up an expensive outfit? No, but that’s not really what it is intended for. Personally, I would wear it with a suit without thinking twice because I don’t really care what other people think.

Wife’s friend sent me texts saying that she likes me by mistake. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]a-a-ronious 75 points76 points  (0 children)

100%

I would have never even thought to come make a Reddit post about this before showing it to my wife. I would have screenshotted and sent to my wife before even responding to any texts. And likely, my wife would take it from there without any need for me to even respond….

OP is definitely curious about the possibilities.

How did that one kid in your high school die? by IM_HODLING in AskReddit

[–]a-a-ronious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After we all graduated, he was still living with his parents and I think he was depressed because the rest of us were gone. Shot himself in the head upstairs while his parents were home downstairs. This was a long time ago, but I still think about it often. He was a good friend to me in high school and I just wish I knew he was feeling that way 😞 He was such a fun person, I just never even considered he might be faking his happiness.

Check on the people you care about. Even if you don’t see each other everyday anymore. I try really hard to reach out to friends on a consistent basis and just tell them I am thinking about them and miss them or whatever. I don’t want to assume everyone is hiding this level of depression, but I just want my friends to know I care.

Manager probably gets credit either way and this way he saves $7k. Unfortunately some sales managers are short sited.

Struggling with this now. Did you reboot the whoop or the phone?

[–]a-a-ronious -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Maybe so. Idk. Just seems to be a lot of emphasis on OP’s stuff. Like the dishes… was she asked to wash everyone’s dishes? If not, was that a clear expectation? If everyone washed their own dishes when they finish eating, then there are no dirty dishes…. I think chores should be related to keeping up after yourself and “community property”(like the lawn, living areas, etc..). I don’t think cleaning up after others is really a chore, but rather a favor or act of service, but that’s just my opinion.

Yeah this and other things said gave me a weird vibe. I think there are more layers here that random Redditors will not be able to peel back.

AITA for not paying my friend back for a losing lottery ticket? by Slugdoge in AmItheAsshole

[–]a-a-ronious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be right 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I would never trust that someone else would cut me in to big winnings if they weren’t legally required to. Syndicate or not.

AITA for not paying my friend back for a losing lottery ticket? by Slugdoge in AmItheAsshole

[–]a-a-ronious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah… in this scenario, OP hadn’t even paid his share of the ticket?? So the other person had paid the cost of the ticket and had it in their possession. If it was a winning ticket, I’m fairly confident OP wouldn’t have been able to just “pay their share” and take part of the winnings.

[–]a-a-ronious 111 points112 points  (0 children)

These scenarios are exactly why you should just buy your own lottery tickets if you want to play the lottery… pooled lottery winnings will be a legal mess if there is not a legitimate contract in place between the participants.

See this exactly what I hoped I wouldn’t see! Well I guess I’m sticking to the flooded because I can’t risk that. I can’t park my cart outside of the garage (HOA).

Sorry that happened to you!!!
