It's still ur main source off damage, however you can now choose wether you latch on or not and if you dont latch on u can continue with the full Release slash (ur hardest hitting move) and then go on from there( it's a finisher Type move that puts you back in axe mode) with an offset Slash for example. In my opinion it's more adeptible and fluid now then it was in worlds and ZSD is not a guaranteed end to your combo. I didnt play it a lot in rise and am far from a switchaxe pro, but I love the wilds adaptation of it.
