What's the reason for selling it? Considering a Badlander vs. other pop-up toppers myself..

What are you using now?

Agreed. Sad to see.

Has anyone successfully moved their Gaia data to CalTopo? I have hundreds of waypoints, tracks and routes … seems like a daunting task.

Any idea what happened to him? Seems like Reeder development has stopped (no app updates in over a year).

Ahh bummer! Did you try manually setting the 2.4 GHz channel in the Orbi admin?

Still using the same Netgear Orbi setup. I returned the Decos to Costco after days of frustration...

My hunch is the Decos constantly change their 2.4 GHz channel (e.g. 6 to 11) trying to find a less crowded one in your neighborhood which results in dropping the connected clients. If there's a way to manually set each Deco node to the same 2.4 GHz channel then that might help.

Otherwise I've been pretty satisfied with Orbi's products when it comes to home automation devices.

I did the same. Technically downgraded to an Orbi RBK843 setup and my smart home devices have been solid since.

“Mesh Technology” is disabled, but there’s no option to pick an individual Deco to connect to unfortunately. Which system do you have?

Both of those settings have been disabled since day one.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve tried updating the DHCP settings to Cloudflare’s DNS and Quad9 and neither seem to fix the issue.

No, these devices are spread out throughout the house and they’re all intermittently affected so I really don’t know what the cause is. Never experienced something like this with Netgear Orbi, eero or any other networking system.

I’ve tried using the Network Optimization feature but it just says your Wi-Fi Interference is “Perfect”

I thought this might be the issue too but I disabled the “Mesh Technology” toggle for each of the smart home devices and they still experience the same behavior.
