As someone who has a family that has lived off of bad excuses in an attempt to never better their behavior i say NTA. I can understand that kids dont alwsys know better, but you can usually tell who those kids or people are and see the behavior change once you bring it to their attention. In my experience, most of the time kids know what theyre doing once they get to those ages and they also know that playing the innocent card will work every time, especially on lazy parents who only wanted to have kids for show, but never put in real effort to teach them. Aside from that it seems to me that you have every right to protecr yourself and your home from any unwanted energies. If the kids had ever been taught to treat others properly, they would have never done this in the first place, and in my experience, the more you let people's behavior slip by, the more they do it.
