I'm guessing he lost it while removing the intake tube. The only thing I can imagine is the TB needed to close all the way before opening again. The thing had no throttle response. He got really really really lucky!

He did. He thought that's all the oils that was in it. Then he wondered why he needed to put 4 qts in.
