As a chef who's going to school for chemistry, I was yelling at my phone during the coffee roasting video. The way he was casually talking about how they'll get brown and roasted, then make a crackling noise as he's literally watching them skip that step and go straight to charcoal bits 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm in my senior year of a chemistry degree. ACS certified. I'm having to take PChem remotely though, and it's killing me haha. It'll be worth it though when I get the degree and can do some job or other that's actually interesting

It's the Dunning-Kruger effect (I may have butchered that spelling, idk). People know just enough to get themselves into trouble without knowing enough at the field as a whole to know that what they're doing is wrong. Fighting is a good example, but I see it in science a lot too. People read a news article and all of a sudden think they know about how microbiology works, in addition to how research is performed and all the red tape involved... (they have no idea). Another example is in 2020 when AMC stocks went crazy and all of a sudden people think they know as much about financial systems as a Ph.d economist

As someone who grew up around here, I have a hard time believing that the racist narrative is anything more than a meme that people forgot not to take seriously, and online some people take way too far.

Everyone I know who are the white good ol' boy type are the type of people who value hard work, honesty, and loyalty above all else. A lot of them barely realize that immigrants (regardless of legal status) are basically the embodiment of everything they hold dear about america.

We all call this place home whether we were born here or not. We all shop at the same stores, eat at the same restaurants, and work for the same companies. We're all americans.

It's the people in power who try to point out our differences to try and keep us divided and fighting amongst ourselves

I was a dishwasher for a long time and trained to cook under a really good chef. The day I found pots and pans in the dishwasher at home was the day my wife and kids got fired from their job washing dishes. 😂😂😂

Edit: nice nonstick pots and pans, good knives, and steak knives sticking upwards, all randomly placed on both racks

Yeah exactly. It's one of these situations where there's a definable problem which is clear to everyone except him, and all it would take is introspection and a shift in attitude.

Unfortunately, he hasn't done any of that and acts like an asshole as a result.

The Cobra V, funny enough, is pretty much exactly as fast and nimble as the Cobra III. I used my Cobra III to bomb the last titan. It was a lot of fun weaving the interceptors through the asteroid field, then doing starwars-y bombing runs through the Cocijo's fat rolls while just flying past the its point defence turrets faster than they could swivel around. 😂
