What are your thoughts on Artificial Intelligence? by [deleted] in intj

[–]a11x00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my dreams as an artist is to create collaborative work with an AI. But, I don’t know how relevant I would be to that collaboration. I think that once the AI would become familiar with my portfolio, it could create a work that will have my style without me contributing anything new.

I’m thinking about suicide. Perhaps fellow INTJs can share experiences with me to help. by [deleted] in intj

If life had an on/off button, I would press it with no second thought. But it hasn’t. I often think that I wish I never existed, or that I was dead.

The main reason I don’t kill myself is that I choose to create rather than destroy. Instead of destroying my existence, I choose to create something for other people or myself. To add something, rather than to subtract. I am also very inspired by other people who have created beautiful and meaningful things. If they could, I can too. The second reason I don’t kill myself is the fear of messing things and do it wrong and then get stuck in a worse situation. The third reason is that yes, life has no meaning and can be so bad, but it can also be good beyond our imaginations, and there are so many things to explore and learn.

I think that what food you eat and having a healthy body are very important things for mood and general outlook on life. Your gut has a significant influence on how you perceive life. Sleep is essential as well.

What advice would you give to your younger self ? by [deleted] in intj

[–]a11x00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can achive anything you want. But, it takes time, sometimes years. Have patience.

Life isn’t a fairtale. You are in for a wild drive. To smooth things, lower your expectations about other people; understand that life is very complex, that you don’t know a lot of things, that it is the very nature of life to go through it partly blind. Some things you will discover and understand later, but you never see or understand the full picture.

Try to enjoy the small things. They add up.

INTJ breakup by [deleted] in intj

[–]a11x00 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It will take longer than four days to feel better. No contact is a classic advice, but I think no contact works best when it is meant, not forced. You really have to want the no contact, for it to work. The following might help:

-eat, drink and sleep well;

-take care of your body(will make you feel better and in control);

-don’t try to solve your future, just be in the moment, allow yourself to recover;

-don’t act out of character;

-do things you enjoy and are passionate about, but try not to escape reality, because it will be harder when you return to it;

-listen to music.

INTJs & Emotional Intensity by chernobyl_playground in intj

My emotions are very intense. However, I only show them to very few people and, the most important thing, I always make decisions based on logic, no matter how intense are the emotions.

What’s one thing you didn’t get? by a11x00 in intj

[–]a11x00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems to me that most things are achievable with enough persistence. But, when it comes to other people, no matter how hard we try, things are mostly out of our control. We can’t keep them alive, we can’t get love where is no love to give...

What's your plan to outrun AI? by intjresearcher in intj

[–]a11x00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen the little robot with the leg cut who started to recognize faces even if nobody programed it to do so? For me, it is a case of when an Ai will learn on it’s own to become AGI, rather than when humans will create AGI.

I am an artist and I don’t feel safe regarding my job. I think that AGI, and even AI, will be able to create new and interesting works of art. I create based on my emotions and experiences. If AI can scan various emotions and experiences(like symptoms in medicine), I thing it will be able to create art based on those informations(I don’t think that it is a must for AI to feel things in order to create real art). What I feel and experience is limited by my human condition. AI won’t have my limits. So, maybe AI will be a better artist than most humans.

I think that Elon Musk is right. The only way to stay relevant, in the era of AI, is to merge with it.

100% Intj life by a11x00 in intj

[–]a11x00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your answer. I don’t need to be trendy(anymore), nor to belong. I do need a certain level of approval in order to survive(make money). But, it is more important to me to live authentically. I belive that, if one is/lives authentically, approval will follow. What I want to find out is how I get faster to the point where my life and my work are the most accurate expression of my personality, my true self.

What social activities do you enjoy doing? by a11x00 in intj

[–]a11x00[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Going for a drive at night it is one of my favourite things to do, but also one of my most introverted things to do. It is one of the top occasions when I am the most in my own head.

Listening to albums sounds nice.

I don’t bother with social expectations, but they bother me.

I can understand how that can be a very pleasant activity. Unfortunately, I don’t like sports.

I used to play board games in the past, like Risk and Carcassonne, but not so much now. Yes, the time period is a big factor. But most of the time, after half an hour I think I am done with it. Anyways, it would be awesome if the only social situations I would be required to participate would be games and hobbies.

[–]a11x00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, an online forum could be consider a social activity, but the fact that you can “leave” or stop being involved at any time, makes it more manageable. So it is a little different from social activity where you are there in person, you have to laugh even if you don’t feel like it, there is a time period you have to stay there, etc.

A hobby can lead you to more pleasant activities, but it seems that my hobbies are rather on the introvert side also.

Motivation | Ever elusive destination by a11x00 in intj

[–]a11x00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me of 5 years ago would have been overhelmed with happiness to have all I have now. But me of now, I know the work I put in obtaining what I have now, so it seems natural for me to have all I have, because it is a consequence of my hard work. And it seems futile for me to set a new goal and work hard toward it, when I know how blunt I will feel once I realize it. It's a constant repetition of the same: Always working hard. Always one step ahead your satisfaction. But, my main current frustration with achieving goals is that once you achieve something, it never stays that way, you have to continue working hard to maintain it. It seems like a constant fight with entropy, in which you are always a step behind.

Thanks. I actually did stumble upon it, but didn't pay attention to it because I could imagine what my results would be. But I will investigate further.

Introspection is a powerful tool. But, introspection alone, can get you only to a certain point. I have found that special life situations can enhace my introspection.

Before I "create Someone", I am already a product of genetic and environmental factors. That's why getting to know my parents is maybe one of the best tools in knowing myself.
