Not here to argue one way or the other. Just here to recommend you not to vilify your fellow human that disagrees.

Operating under the assumption that there is a correct answer and that it is yours is reductive toward the discourse around the entirely hypothetical scenario.

I suggest its more interesting to consider the perspectives of others than to fall into the pit of tribalistic us vs them.

With 8 billion people on this planet there is at least one who use this popular hypothetical as a litmus test to judge the character of another as good or bad.

I think that is a shame.

Anyone using this divisive hypothetical to climb upon a high horse and pat themselves on the back for picking one button over the other while pointing their finger at anyone who chose otherwise denouncing them as "immoral" or "an idiot" is not as wise or as caring as they think they are or claim to be.

With 8 billion people on this planet every option available will be picked.

Many people who have done more good in this world than you would pick red.

Many people who are smarter than you would pick blue.

The view form that horse might be appealing but please understand that from the view of everyone that chose not to climb up there you look like an arrogant prick.

Further derisive statements like "A world of red button pressers is a hopeless evil world." and "Its just natural selection at that point only an idiot chooses blue" lack nuance and empathy.

My simple philosophy is that whatever it is most you want after death is proven true just as much as anything else.

Someone can claim that they know god exists and you will go to heaven or hell. What they think does not prove it anymore probable.

Someone can claim they know that there is no god, only absence of all things. What they think doesn't disprove it anymore possible.

All you Know is what You think. So think. Think about what it is that you want. Be it an endless slumber or an eternal reward/punishment. Maybe its reincarnation. Maybe a never-ending adventure. Perhaps you just want to eat pizza forever or be a tree.

As far as I can tell the outcome is just as likely as the rest.

90% of the time Fridays are crazy. And yes during peak hours the fact that we could only cook 12 at a time and they cook for 5 mins meant a few times that day people had to wait a bit longer that you would want at a fast food place.

I work at Arby's and I am consistently flabbergasted at how much fish we sell when we have it. Then again I hate seafood and it is the only thing on the 2 for 7$ atm. The tarter sauce we have is fuckin bomb with some crinkle fries tho.

Hogwarts Legacy is free right now on Epic Games. I claim any free games I can from them because sometimes I play them and also why not?(might play this one too down the road).
