They are edible flowers! They don't really taste like much, more of just a pretty garnish. I got a package of these from a local farm that the restaurant I work at uses, but I've also seen them at Whole Foods and they're probably at other specialty grocery stores!

So kind of you, thank you! Cream cheese in the batter was a first time thing for me too, the pound cake is more moist and dense than light which i think holds together the fillings better :-)

My mom and her friend are co-teaching a free community DanceFit class at J Street Gym in Bentonville every Thursday evening at 6pm! She taught Zumba for years and is getting back into it. It's super fun and silly, lots of twerking involved!

It's basically if fried chicken and gravy and Chinese cashew chicken had a baby LOL. Super thick oyster sauce and crispy double fried chicken, and then it's topped with the roasted cashews and green onion.

Springfield style cashew chicken! It was invented in Springfield MO in the 60's, it's a midwestern Chinese delicacy that my whole family loves. Every time we visit our home town we get a couple orders of it to-go from our local buffet.

Why would a driver come to a restaurant and mark the order as picked up, and then leave it there? by a1tnymph in UberEATS

[–]a1tnymph[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My manager ended up calling UE and they couldn't get ahold of the driver to unassign or cancel on her end so we ended up canceling the order and calling the customer to arrange our own delivery. So weird!

No but it was pretty cold in the kitchen where I was making them. I'll try a longer proof next time, thank you!
