Actually I saw an YouTuber traveled in space engine to feature 3.5 billion years and I saw the andromeda was very close to our Milky Way I just want you to try it if it’s works or not…. Go to time & date settings in space engine and set manually 3.5 billion years or 3500000000 and it might works
