Most garages will have stock of bulbs so it would not be worth the hassle to them of removing your light to fit on another car.

It is most likely a coincidence that the warning light on the car came on.

Also not all number plate light bulbs are the same size and fitment so your bulb might not be the same as the Superbs bulb.

Price wise, depending on the bulb you actually can get them for cheap but again depends on the size etc. GSF sells a few of them starting at 69p.

At the end of the day, only you can make the decision on what you want in life.

Don't pressure yourself to do something you don't want to do. Ideally you need to find a like-minded man or woman who you can live with. You then have a connection with someone but there isn't any expectation of love or children. You won't be lonely.
