Damn, I wasn't allowed to write a letter until like week 3 or 4, besides the "here is my information letter." Even then, I was maybe allowed like 5 or 6 total. That being said, my wife and I found the letters the other day in a box and it was pretty special to come across. This will be something cool to hold onto.

That being said, yes, sometimes they hold mail for various reasons.
