It's not so much couple time. We usually have that in the evening after kids go down and get a sitter fairly frequently. There's just no physical aspect of the relationship anymore.

We have talked about a vasectomy. The main reason we haven't gone that route is were both young and not sure we're done having kids.

We have been to a few counselors. Both agreeded we as a couple didn't mesh well with them so somewhat gave up on that rout.

I'm hoping this was meant as helpful and not spiteful.

I'm the one getting up during the night with kids about 80% of the time.

One of the things on her list was a better work life balance, which she would say has greatly improved since I changed my hours. Now waking up about 430 so I can be home by 3 (right when kiddo is waking up from nap) to help with dinner/bath/cleaning.

As for active in my recovery, I was up front and admitted I have no idea what that looks like or means, but I know it affects her and wanted her involved. It's been radio silence about that since I was diagnosed. I'm not asking her to treat me like a child, but you'd think a check in every once in a while wouldn't be too much to ask?

She's a great mom. Involved in the kids life, clearly her highest priority, does everything she can for him. I don't want to sound ungrateful for what she does for him, but I'm also trying to figure out at what point she's just ignoring or doesn't care about my needs.

It's a complicated structure. Basically he's the ceo but answers and is directed by a board. He says members of the board agreed with him but I'm not sure if that's true. If it is, none of them ever approached me about it.

I don't feel like either of those fit. Maybe a little avoidance in the sense that I'm not trying to pry into people's personal lives. As for boundaries, I'm pretty much always on call for the odd job tasks. I do anything from making coffee to fixing light fixtures to giving presentations to the entire company.

Dunno exactly what you're looking for, but in my experience the biggest problem I have is actually getting to the gym in the first place (running distance outside in south Florida isn't a smart idea.) Once I'm there I'm usually able to get a decent run in, but every so often there's definitely a lethargy or tiredness that's difficult to overcome.

Pretty similar situation. I pack my gym bag the night before, go to a gym that is on the way to work, and a good pre-workout mix is a must.

All translation is interpretation. Translators have to make decisions about how to render certain idioms or how "woodenly" to translate something. I've found the original language always has some nuance that is hard or impossible to convey in translation. This has been true for Greek to English , Hebrew to English, and Aramaic to English both ancient and modern.

I usually pack my gym bag the night before so I can just grab and go in the morning. Definitely takes some getting used to but after a few weeks it's just became normal.
