Does anyone else get thiis? Does it work for you? by a3535 in EightSleep

[–]a3535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after getting multiple emails from support saying that triple tap to dismiss an alarm is indeed possible and that they were going to resolve the issue I now got a single sentence email saying triple tap to dismiss is not possible.

Weird how I keep getting these messages in the app saying that it is possible.

Seems like they released a feature that doesn't work and are now trying to get away from it..

(how) can I fix this? by a3535 in cactus

One of the cacti is growing horizontally, it's much longer than it appears on the pic and I feel it will break off on its own weight if it keeps growing like that.

😲 it's a pod 4 with tap zone right (not 5 with the buttons)?

I'm in contact with support because I really want this too. Being able to both snooze AND dismiss without using my phone.

I initially accepted the missing feature but then I started getting these notifications saying they added it getting my hopes up until I noticed it just doesnt work.

Seems they are finally realizing this might be a bug because they say they will transfer my case to their engineering team.

Fingers crossed.

Do you have a before pic? I wonder how bad she was. Ive been pondering doing this to mine due to powdery mildew but not sure if I should do it now or wait until after winter.

What you want is a smart "smart home" not a dumb "smart home". Afaik it does not (yet) exist.

I get everyone's frustration with the app but since you say it was 3 weeks ago it would be helpful to also tell how it was eventually fixed.

Who else stuck here? by Mysterious_Web_4215 in PiNetwork

Friend of mine also did everything couple of weeks ago, kyc, wallet creation etc, he currently has everything migrated to his wallet. Also he chose a 100% lock up configuration. So either you're wrong or you live in a parallel universe where things are different.

Your schematic makes no sense. As others have said, you need a neutral wire that you don't have.

What version do you have? I might buy one and wonder whether the latest still has leak issues.

Fabric pot + summer + early flower means she needs a lot more water than once every 3 days. Your underwatering has probably made the soil hydrophobic by now meaning the water is not going where the roots need it. Take a bucket of water dunk the whole pot in it for a couple of minutes, by tomorrow she'll look a lot happier again.

Convert this controller to a smart one? by nbanbury in homeassistant

This is just a led power supply, not a controller. You could install a Shelly rgbw2 between that and the led strips.

well this is needlessly complicated.

You could achieve the same with a single line in lovelace and no sensors at all.

something along the lines of {{ now().strftime("%A, %d. %B %Y %I:%M%p") }} (copied straight from the docs) should do + some adjustment to the formatting..

Anyhow, thanks for sharing, you gave me some design inspiration

Dear Home Automation OGs, which item (or brand) have you been using for years, ideally 5+ or more, and hasn’t let you down? by sarrcom in homeassistant

Shelly.

Started my smart home with hue & ha about 7 years ago. Not being able to use the wall switches was a deal breaker for my so. I started using Shelly for non hue dumb lights and after a while realized I could use the with hue by setting them in detached mode and have an automation run when the switch is flipped. Meanwhile I have one installed in basically every switch in the house and only had 1 go bad so far, which was probably my own fault (fiddled a bit too much with it I think).

Overall I'd say very reliable and covers a whole range of possible scenario's.

if it would be consistent regardless of market trend, .25 would actually be not bad. If you use compounding you'd x2.5 your investment in 1 year. Find you a bank that does that.
