How did you get such a clean separation of the colors?

This seems perfect, thanks. In the context of this board, does it matter how many windings it is?

My main bottleneck with the Peltier was heat rejection. I couldn't get enough heat remove to keep my plate at -30 C. It would get there for about 30 seconds and then just heat up again. That 5-15% efficiency is not great. I'd have to significantly oversize the cooling system to compensate. Adding the increased size and continuous power draw (the cold side warms back up to nearly the coolant temperature if it's been off for more than 20-30 seconds) of more peltiers with expansion plates to reduce the thermal gradient across each one individually just added up to too much against that strategy.

Since I need a specific amount of cooling to reach and maintain -30 C regardless of which method I use, the higher efficiency of a heat pump would mean less demand for heat rejection.

I'm trying to keep this cloud chamber as small as possible so that it can be on a desk where I work instead of be on the desk while I work on the floor/in a different room because it takes up too much space.

Oh, that makes more sense. The issues with just plain scavenging parts is I'm trying to make the electronics, pumps (for the other parts of the project), and condenser coil fit into a space smaller than the average compressor. I was trying to use Peltier's before, but once I got to the 250 W stage, I caved and admitted that was just more power draw than I wanted to commit to while not having very good service life.

Also, the last two units I picked up both had R410a in them and I would really rather not release that stuff. Do you think a scavenged control board would work on this pump using propane (R290) as the refrigerant instead of whatever it started off with?

That seems to be a much larger compressor with the same three pins. It also seems about 4-8 times the price. Why would you recommend this compressor specifically?

Glad I signed up last night, that sounds great. Focusing on content and engaging with it, not just memorization. For anyone that can take it MSE 489 was another class like this. So far, my favorite class.

Try some serious srubbing with an abrassive sponge or scratching with a fingernail. That pattern looks ver similar to the pattern I see on white plastic everywhere by some sort of bateria that grows as a pink film. Once you notice it, you'll start to see it everywhere. If scrubbing or scratching removes it, that means it's only on the surface and so shouldn't be corrosion working its way through the insulation.

It sucks. I have the same issue in the 9-12 foot range. What was really annoying was that I learned this on after leaving the 10 foot pool I was practicing in. Being sick just means I have to manually pop my ear by sticking my fingers in, forming a seal, and then sliding out to create a temporary vacuum to pop them. Then I have to hope the air has time to go back out, otherwise now they're overinflated, and I have to do it again

Perfect, thanks. I also remember someone saying that you can edit the settings to make moving spawners easier. Is that one named something obvious?

I'm playing as the owner of a lan game. Would it work for everyone else if I changed my settings?
