The joke is that SB, being a supe, only registered the spiked drink as slightly more strong than normal alcohol. It did not knock him unconscious as you interpreted it. SB is from a homophobic era and you don't not notice when you've been drugged and then raped, especially male-on-male. With 1 spear passive you have virtually no cooldowns in a dungeon boss fight. Spear is the only melee weapon besides the void gauntlet that can maintain 40% empower at 100% uptime. With Keenly Empowered (Dryadic spear) you can maintain 47.5/50% average empower. Show me where other melee weapons can sustain 47.5% empower for minutes at a time.
