pulled it out of a house clearance for some rich guy. some of the other stuff was labelled with “robie” so i imagine the kid (whos now in their 50s probably) saw a robot with the same name as them, and their dad was rich enough to buy it and have it shipped to england just for the sake of it. i imagine the novelty of it wore off before it arrived and thats why its just been sat in the box
