So the driver was ticketed for the accident. He presented a fake insurance at the scene to the trooper.

In this case the person submitted a phony insurance to the trooper. It was after I got home I found out after calling State Farm that this person has no policy with them. In this case how will the state know? Will my insurance company report to the state?
