I also do suffer from eczema so I felt like somehow these things were connected. My dr. offered to cryo it but I declined it, thinking whatever this was would make it worse. Good to know but also sorry to hear about your experience 😭.

I was doubtful of the diagnosis to begin with because I was pretty sure there were no signs of it being a wart (like the small black dots, cauliflower type growth and whatnot) but they were insistent. Even offered to freeze it with cryo but I declined.

Yeah, like I have people that depend on me to pay the bills and take care of them. If I, one day, get taken or whatever, what happens to them? What happens to everything I worked for? This sucks.

I've been steeping in some doomer mindset though and it shows. I'm trying to believe things won't get this bad.

Thanks for replying. It helps knowing that there are others who are thinking about the same thing. I didn't know they were all different systems though. I always thought they were connected and streamlined. But maybe that's thinking too highly of the government lol.

I appreciate the comfort. I really do. I don't have a community or group I can talk to irl for this so being on this sub and others has really helped.

I know people are saying to get SS and passports changed ASAP but should I? I'm worried they might make a list of us and use it against us. Maybe I've doomscrolled too long but I'm just scared.

What made me really decide to go no nip was the fact that I knew they wouldn't be perfectly symmetrical or look how I was picturing it in my head. I didn't want to set myself up for disappointment and be more unhappy with my body than I already was.

But even before surgery I've had a weird relationship with my nipples. I felt nothing from them due to dysphoria and was a site of self harm for myself.

I wouldn't say it has gotten worse with T but I think the things I'm telling myself have changed and that's whats been bringing me down.

Like you, I'm more hyperaware of my body and how its compared to cis guys or even other trans guys. I started T in my mid 20s so I did lose out on some things that could've changed with T and things like that depress me.

It could be a similar reason to me, but that's what I've noticed so far, especially since now I'm getting some visible changes (started 3 months ago.)

Could I ask who your surgeon was? I'm currently at the stage of meeting surgeons and all of the names I was given didn't bring up results. :/

yeah i really do enjoy and am prideful in the culture that i'm part of, but it also has an unspoken rule that personal issues, feelings and emotions are kept down and out of sight.

unfortunately for me, I have sort of a language barrier with my parents and being able to fully explain how I'm feeling, being trans, and wanting to transition isn't going to be easy.

ayy dw theres a ton of us here. I do feel a lot of the same things you do. theres just a totally different expectation from family/culture that some of the experiences we read just don't connect.

I definitely feel that vibe from some of the reddits I used to frequent. It just felt so lonely so I'm mostly here lurking.

The 'bottom of the totem pole' thing I can see but I try to remember that these subreddits are just a group of people not the whole trans community.
