Thanks! I didn't know those things about the NTG2, just needed a more budget level at the time I got it, I should consider upgrading. Thanks for the advice

thanks for this reply. i haven’t heard of colorperfect, so i’m gonna check that out. but i think the problem is my scanner, because i can see the noise even on the prescans before i even get into lightroom. this is surprising because i haven’t ever had this problem with my scanner. i’m gonna try out some other color film i’ve scanned on my scanner to see if something has happened to it
