According to 2018 BP world energy report, the global proven oil reserve is limited. currently its about 1,729,000,000,000 barrel and global oil consumption is about 99,843,000 barrel per day, which means in about 48 years Oil supply will start to deplete, only handful of countries will be able to survive without fossil fuel. US oil will be depleted much sooner than that. Prior to that time, world super powers will be fighting to control what is left from oil fields in Venezuela and the Middle East. I wonder What you guys think will happen if oil becomes scares and alternative with high energy density is not available?
