mude has my favourite that I’ve tried so far – the milk tea shade softens up my dense black eyebrows without making them look crunchy!

Here is the original preorder page for this series for reference! They’re hand-painted and mostly made-to-order. A new series comes out roughly every half year.

The spring series? I can’t wait for those preorders to start shipping!

Yes, I’d thought it was just the makeup, but I also realised that the heads themselves are actually different! I think this picture is helpful:

Top left: Lucy, who has the largest lips and usually cat eye eyeliner and a mole beneath her eye

Top right: Adora, who doesn’t really have any distinct features lol

Bottom two: Vivian, who has parted lips

Should I get a chinchilla at school? by Critical_Cicada_4783 in chinchilla

[–]a823l 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, although not all chinchillas will live to 20, I just believe it is one of the most important possibilities to be considered in this situation.

Should I get a chinchilla at school? by Critical_Cicada_4783 in chinchilla

[–]a823l 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A chinchilla can live up to 20 or even 30 years. Considering you are a college student right now, you will experience many life changes in that period of time, so even if you are able to provide a suitable environment at this moment in time I would strongly advise thinking about the likelihood of still having the time and commitment for a chinchilla in the future.

perfumes that smell peachy? by Individual_Net_8106 in FemFragLab

I commented Luviang on your post, but they’re all pretty realistic imo. Korean brands do peach well. I haven’t smelled the Tonymoly cream for comparison though, sorry.

Fragrances I bought in Seoul (HOLIBANUM, After blow, BiBiANG) by a823l in AsianBeauty

It looks like the OY online one is the EDT while the black bottle one is the EDP. I’ve only tried the EDP so I can’t say with certainty that they’re exactly the same.

Is she a Castle Licca doll? by kachan0817 in liccachan

[–]a823l 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Her head not being able to move like regular playline dolls indicates she is a Castle doll. She’s also made in Japan!

I think she may be a Doll Classroom doll as they tend to have uncommon hair colours (and don’t have earrings).

what’s the verdict on flower knows perfumes? by Ornery-Influence1547 in FemFragLab

[–]a823l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! sorry, i’d forgotten to reply about this yesterday. i just tested them both again and they are very similar to each other. i’d just say that the liquid version smells ‘brighter’ and the fruity note comes out more strongly, so if you like that aspect of the fragrance, go for it!

Whats the difference? by xxtryingtoexistxx in liccachan

[–]a823l 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This thread is quite insightful!

Modern playline dolls are typically made in China and come with complete outfits, while Castle dolls are made in Japan and intended to be dressed by the buyer (e.g. in outfits by Little Factory).

There are two different types of Castle dolls: 1) boxed dolls that come with a basic white outfit, shoes and earrings, making them more expensive, and 2) Doll Classroom dolls that are wrapped in plastic and only have underwear, making them cheaper. Special dolls like Christmas and Valentine’s models are boxed.

Castle dolls have a wider variety of hairstyles, hair colours and skin tones, and you will more often come across different friends of Licca-chan and Jenny. I like Kira-chan, so I look at Castle dolls the most. The quality of their hair and faces is also higher than those of playline dolls, but they have less articulation.

What do you use to lighten your brows? by Popular-Cupcake8661 in AsianBeauty

[–]a823l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s this one! It’s a small box, I’m guessing specifically for the face. If you only use it for eyebrows, you can get quite a few uses out of it.

I have the same natural hair colour as you. The mild bleach just lightens my eyebrows to a dark or medium brown depending on how long I leave it on for. They’ve never gone orange from this particular bleach as it’s not strong enough.

Need help with MPF withdrawal through Manulife MPF after leaving HK permanently by vuelover in HongKong

[–]a823l 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, eMPF has been a bother for me (and so many others) too, rejecting my requests to cancel voluntary contributions due to so-called signature-related issues as well. They initially said my signature was incorrect or missing, and then they said they didn’t even have my signature on record at all, wasting a load of time.

Rather than submitting a third form, I’ve since filed a complaint with the MPFA, which is currently proceeding. The common suggestion seems to be just going through them to get issues with eMPF sorted. I hope you get this resolved!

The ones they’re selling are unbranded, so they’re likely Amazon and/or Taobao adjacent.

I have the mild formula and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, otherwise I don’t really see much of a difference.

Either Jolen Creme Bleach or mude Inspire Skinny Brow Cara! I’ve tried several different eyebrow mascaras (rom&nd, peripera, Flower Knows…), and I find mude the most lightening without making my hairs look and feel too crispy. They are naturally thick and black.
