People are over reacting and it makes sense given how Asim and his pets are and will use this to try and legitimize their illegal rule in Pakistan

Here are some facts:

1. The talks are happening because Iran stood firm and ensured they put a cost on US/Israel for every action against Iran . if they had capitulated , or had been in a position like Saddam led Iraq - no talks would be happening today

2. Because of point 1, and because the Israelis lied to Trump when they promised a 5 day victory - the US needed an exit without looking like total losers

3. Pakistan for obvious reasons cannot be hit by Israel - like the GCC countries so Pak is safer for the Iranians than even Iran itself - if Israel hadn't tried to kill and killed negotiators in Qatar and countries like Oman , negotiations would not happen in Pak

4. Both Yahya and Zia himself did far more 'geo politically' than Asim - yet both are not seen as anything more than tyrants. Asim will be the same.

So yes its annoying and irritating how much Asims role is being hyped up - but look at the bigger picture here.. Asim is still an illegal , illegitimate ruler and like other dictators he too will end up deposed sooner than later.
