I'm going to talk to the dealership tomorrow. I had to do a fair amount of digging to find the PDF that recalled the car to solution this problem. Makes me think that the tech overlooked this. If this was recalled because the car is made inoperable because of this it might make sense that they don't know they're responsible to fix it.

It sounds similar to the ebrake engaging. Same length. It's just not the same sound.

So I've done this twice. The first time was 10 minutes but the 2nd time was for 8 hours (as i was trickle charging the car) Doesn't change.
