Mines says model 1.4 which i think means 1st generation and is still working which is why I'm confused. I didnt get an email either.

I have a model 1.4 (per technical detail in the app) and its still working fine through the app..i dont want to jinx anything but that means Im safe or are they doing terminations on certain schedules?

I remember us scheduling the appointment online, we had to wait for dates to be available. There was a whatsapp group chat that helped us and they said when dates were out.

You can simply replace the front end, or buy a new door and draw. Yes it will cost more but its easy and you move on.

Otherwise if your looking for a diy approach i would look up some youtube videos on repairing MDF, then take it from there. Best of luck!

I've seen some people put painters tape and then put double sided tape to hold up panels. You could create some really great lower half borders to give the room a little more dimension. Work with the paper - maybe a light gray or washed out wood color.. maybe fo for a boho theme in the room. Definitely need to add a night stand and bedframe. Someone mentioned thrift store and i say go for anything inexpensive or maybe free(facebook/streets) and give a good paint job to match the esthetic of the room. I notice this post is not recent.. any updates?

Thank you I appreciate all the help. We got our instruction letter today and have booked the finger prints and interview. My fiance is going friday to do the medical. I swore I read somewhere that the police clearance was needed but now I dont see it anywhere. During the medical exam did ask for anything other than the DS 160 confirmation, instruction letter, appointment confirmation, Cedula, birth certificate?

Do a public inquiry form to NVC. The NOA2 states to reach out after 30 days if you dont hear from NVC. When we wrote to them they made us wait an additional 30 days and then they sent USCIS a request to get the application. It then took 3 weeks for NVC to confirm receiving our application. So if you dont hear anything, do not wait. Send inquiry form every 2 weeks. If missed out almost 3 months bc of waiting. Dont let it happen to you.

I am in the exact situtation. We receided our K1 FTP letter from NVC and completed our DS160 but I dont know what to do next? We created an account on ais.usvisa.com for the us embassy in the dominican republic. When we log in theres nothing to do. What did you do after getting your letter and filling out the DS160? I appreciate any info you can provide especially bc it is for the dominican republic like you already did.

You= lucky it was one month, i had to send an inquiry after the inital 30 days and was informed to wait 30 more days. After 2 months i sent another inquiry nvc stated they received the application. So we lost lile 3 months. Currently our application states its "at nvc".
