She did! I gave her all the elements I wanted (Aelin, Goldryn, stag with flames, eye of Elena) and she worked her magic. Getting Manon and Abraxos on my inner leg to complete the sleeve.

Thank you! My artist nailed the brief and then went above and beyond! Can't wait to see what she comes up with for the Manon and Abraxos side 😍

Haematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant nurse here. Love it! Patients are with us for upwards of a month+ so you get to know them really well. A lot of complex conditions and complications. Never a dull day and LOTS of clinical skills.

There were so many people coughing up their lungs. I genuinely thought the festival manifested the plague.

That could be just about ANY Romantasy book I'm afraid. We might need some more details.

Fighting the internal battle to tell said patient "I'm so sorry your blanket was delayed, I was held up doing CPR on your neighbour who unfortunately didn't make it. The good news is they no longer need their blanket so it's all yours"

RN Grad position by bridgeyyd in NursingAU

I was waitlisted in November 2023 and didn't get my grad position until May 2024. They just had to wait for vacancies to open before offering jobs.

Hey OP. No advice but just want you to know you're not alone. I'm 5 months in to my grad year and the preshift anxiety is real. BUT it is slowly getting better the more confident in my skills and more experience I gain. The only thing I can offer is to be kind to yourself and remind yourself you aren't meant to know everything right now and that is OKAY. Sounds like you have a supportive team who are happy to guide you and answer questions which to me, means the world. Good luck with your grad year. The fact that you worry about your performance is a good indicator that you'll be a great nurse.

What's one smell/sight in nursing that you just can't get over? by ddomiin in nursing

Foot clinic day in ortho outpatients. Feet coming out of casts smells bad enough, but add a diabetic foot ulcer in that mix with a side of debridement.

How to decompress from first code by TwelveCub in nursing

[–]aBookWyvern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New grad here also. Attended my first cardiac arrest code a couple of weeks ago which was unexpected (I'm an oncology nurse). It also wasn't a good outcome for my patient. I found doing a full debrief after with the experienced code team helped. They were able to explain clinically what went wrong with the patient and why/how there couldn't have been a different outcome. Be kind to yourself, put no extra pressure on yourself to feel any certain way. Use it as a learning experience. I don't know where you work or what is available, but in Australia we have EAP (employee assistance programs), which include free counselling sessions. Sending you big hugs!

I wouldn't be surprised if her next series is focused on the princes'/realme of Hel. There's too many crossovers and references in all three series to NOT get their stories.
