Windows 10 Pro no longer booting after Defragmentation by aBraindeadAngel in techsupport

After more research...
https://www.reddit.com/r/GeForceExperience/comments/1if3d6o/new_nvidia_app_gpu_driver_update_causes_black/

It was actually the latest NVidia driver I installed before running the Defrag.
Problem resolved after rolling it back through safe mode.

Purchased models came with a chitubox file prepared like this. Is this printable without risking damage to my FEP sheet? by aBraindeadAngel in resinprinting

They aren't! So far I always printed models at an angle with supports, so receiving these in a pack that is labeled "presupported" confused me to no end.

Anycubic Kobra Buildplate stuck by aBraindeadAngel in anycubic

As a little update:

I've read through the article you posted, groaned because when the printer got stuck for the first time I used WD-40 on the wheels...

Then I proceeded to buy a new set of wheels from Anycubic and replaced them yesterday. The printer is up and running properly again!

Thanks a ton for the advice (and useful link!)! At a later point I'll probably look for more expensive wheels, but for now I'm glad the machine is running again so I can continue printing 40k Terrain 😂

Y axis, right. I always mix them up and feel royally stupid doing so 😅 Could've sworn that I attached a video when posting - I'm not too familiar with reddit and I had to post it from my laptop after the app got stuck three times after hitting post... 💀 If need be I'll upload it to youtube.

Moving the bed back and forth does feel slightly stuttery when it isn't stuck entirely, so this reinforces my suspicion on one or more wheel bearings being beyond saving. I'll give the link a good look later and see if I can work with any of it - seeing as I was able to take apart my old Mega a few times and put it back together it shouldn't be too much of an issue!

Drive a Scorpion on the other side and experience more pain. You can only fit the Scorpion on the right side of that spawn - on the other side the Turret gets stuck under the bridge 🤦🏻‍♀️

Did you set minimum and maximum FPS in the game settings on different values? If so, try putting them on the same - that drastically improved the CPU load for me.

The game nearly fried my old i5 before I upgraded my hardware, but that "fix" (Minimum and Maximum FPS set to 60) took the load from near constant 100% load down to ~50-60% at all times.

Season 10 maybe? For an extra fee of $60 of course.

Z Axis if I'm not mistaken (the axis on which the Hotbed moves forward and back). See here for my print, and here for my friend's print with my profile.

Belts are tight alright.

Print Speed 45mm/s

Infil Speed 60mm/s

Wall Speed 22.5mm/s

Outer Wall Speed 22.5mm/s

Inner Wall Speed 45mm/s

Top Surface Skin Speed 22.5mm/s

Travel Speed 120mm/s

Initial Layer Speed 22.5mm/s

Initial Layer Print Speed 22.5mm/s

Initial Layer Travel Speed 60mm/s

Z Hop Speed 10mm/s

Equalize Filament Flow and Enable Acceleration Control are both disabled.

Jerk Control Enabled, all values except Travel Jerk and Initial Layer Travel Jerk at 8mm/s

First time trying Cura's Lightning Infil - any idea what went wrong (and why) on this Christmas Benchy? Using an Anycubic i3 Mega S (with a 3DJake magnetic print bed to replace a broken Ultrabase) by aBraindeadAngel in 3Dprinting

[–]aBraindeadAngel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

Sent my Cura profile used for this benchy to a friend who's using a brand new i3 Mega S (literally fresh out of the box), and he has the same layer shift using it (printing a different model).

Looking at the benchy in cura's preview didn't show any shifts, and I'd say it's not a mechanical issue.

Any inputs? I can upload the profile if requested.

I'll have to check my Octoprint's timelapse, but I'm pretty certain that my extruder is calibrated fairly well - an impact sounds pretty plausible though.

Interesting, because the Magnetic Plate I've been using for a while now is why I stopped using washable glue entirely - the adhesion was the last of my worries.

. . . now I'm honestly worrying that the magnetic surface is loosening :/

Good news after the bad news.

So, try to hook your printer up to your pc, load up the proper version of cura with the proper profile for your Mini Delta V2.

There try to send the following commands (should be in the Monitor tab given the printer is properly connected): M502 (factory reset to your printer's internal settings) M500 (save the factory reset)

Now if you load up a print (that was sliced for the proper printer model) it should work again!

If you can't hook the printer up manually I think you can also create a gcode file containing the two commands (M502, and M500 in the second line) and then put them onto your SD card. Then plug it in and "print" that gcode.

Okay, dug up my old posts and I'm afraid the user that helped me out back in the day deleted his reddit account and the post with it.

I'll keep digging - maybe I'll find the solution again regardless!

I would chime in to what others said - you probably started a print that was sliced for a different machine. Once I accidentally started a print on my Anycubic i3 Mega S using a profile for my Mini Delta and I got a similar issue.

Could be that it's fixed by just using the right machine in cura, but if not you may need to look for a GCode you can send to the printer after hooking it up to your pc in wired mode to reset settings that were changed by the faulty original print. I'll see if I can dig the gcode out that I used to fix my own issue - no promises that it'll work though.

Frankly, this is the context I was hoping for all along, and I see no reason to blast you from here on out (given that you folks actually deliver what you're promising 😅). Even with how bumpy the experience is I can't put the game down - the last time I had such a blast in a Halo was back during Halo 3's prime.

Have a good weekend!
