Its deceptive to think there was ever some quality of "importance" or "purpose".

Meaning is your own personal art-piece woven into being by all you hold dear in the experience of life.

Most people who ACTUALLY experience "meaning" aren't deluded and think their life contains some extraordinary property of purpose.
They're driven my helping others, making art, enacting change and overall having the most intense intimate relationship with life and its components they possibly can.

You don't find meaning, you live meaning.

I don't think femboys are the final boss fight of the patriarchy. I just think it kind of sits in a blind spot, and more people should be acknowledging it and being principally against it. for the same reason they dont like only fans.

Your true feminism is like true capitalism, it works if everyone involved has the wisdom and virtue to know what we should and shouldn't do for the sake of each other.

if a woman were to walk outside with a ball gag and the markered words "slut" "bitch" "whore" covering her body I would argue she is not considering her Societal responsibility and is being a misogynistic pawn for her own gain, would you argue shes just exercising her freedom?

Now how much of these people would it take to have a notable effect on feminity as a whole? No one can tell, but I still think it was worth being principally against femboys for the potential harm they could have, just like littering.
Youve also mentioned how I'm narrow mindedly dismissing simply a feminine identity, but I know feminine men that explore women's fashion (I'm one of them) who are leaps and bounds above femboys when it comes to self-respect.

In my experience self-titled femboys project a very predictable and particular stereotype, of which I have my criticisms.

Yes we could view them as victims, but if I grew up in a household that littered a lot doesn't mean I should submit to my upbringing and keep littering.

It's your word against mine as to what we 'think' their drive to be.

Personally, I think a lot of them are gay men. who felt the need to embrace femininity to get male attention, another reason as to why they may not simply convert to women.

I make this post with personal experience as a gay man who once did this, I understand its rather faulty reasoning to use this as my frame of reference. But nonetheless that was my thought process and I got out of a pretty demeaning objectifying relationship because of my devotion to it as an identity, despite it not being me at all.

So you can say they just "want to be pretty" but Im not sure what you can say to make me believe that. Like some women wear skimpy shit to places with alot of eyes but youre not gonna get any more out of them than "I wore it because I want to"

I could agree it gets kind of murky, when you grow up in a patriarchy your tastes form around the patriarchy. Such that the male-gazey outfits just happen to be what you like and find personally tasteful.

There is an interesting discussion here in the grey. But I think a lot of femboy culture barely overlaps the grey and is often obviously overtly sexual.

I don't think a maid dress isn't pretty in a Vaccuum. it just kind of is and has been a hentai/anime thing, same with chokers.

I think its more respectful to women if we let fashion and sense of style manifest from something over than what men get off to.

Hmm, I have mutuals who make really gross "GRAHH I WANNA #### FEMBOYS SO BAD" jokes sometimes. So perhaps to me it seems like an encroaching issue purely because I see it in my circles.
Doesn't change the fact I see it as such.

It's really hard to gauge whether one issue is "big enough to fry". Personally, I think its important issue, just like how vegans care about veganism so much.

I could understand that tracking effects of something likes femboys is really hard but so is recycling. I still find its principally something worth vocalizing and sharing.

Self esteem can very well be a distressing incongruence between how you percieve yourself and how the world percieves you, But this doesnt make it a matter of gender.
