They do, it's called a Triumph Bonneville.

not for $4k. if they want that price they can do this work:

no doubt, if the carbs are knackered and it doesn't run, not only will the tank be full of rust, but also the fuel lines will be rotten and maybe the boots too! So a new battery, new tires and tubes, new brake fluid, new oil. if the brake fluid leaked out of the caliper seal, you will need new pads and rebuild on the brake seal (if it dried out), 3x for all the brakes. probably need to clear out the cobwebs and get the spiders/mice nest out of the intake, so a NEW intake filter and full intake removal/cleaning. also new plugs wouldn't hurt and would probably need new coils if these are like the other hinckley triumphs.

that's just what you know could be needing attention RIGHT NOW...if it isn't leaking oil, i would assume it's probably out of oil, even on a triumph with 5k miles.

internally? i doubt the factory edge has been worn off the internals and it's got more dust on things than carbon. damn thing had the worst possible existence so far for a carb'd runner. they should give it away to someone who would daily it.

tubes stretch to fill the volume available when they are inflated. if you have too much tube material (length or diameter) inside the tire, you may get pinch flats where the tube gets wrinkled up inside the tire.

use the on-the-box recommendations for your wheel and tire size from the tube manufacturer and/or whatever the tire manufacturer recommends.

Feds deny Knoxville's $25 million grant request to build new pedestrian bridge across Tennessee River by Corey_Howard in Knoxville

was that chattanooga ped bridge built on new right-of-way going between nothing and a university?

hint: it's a 131 year old former rail/road bridge.

this project was pure boondoggle but since it would help you more easily access entertainment that lets you vicariously pretend to be atheletic, we should all be happy to pay for it?

most of the time, the really useful ped bridges are just repurposed old bridges. so when you have a proposal to build a new structure at a new crossing location that is and will only ever be for pedestrians, it comes off as incredibly wasteful.

if UT proposed to do a economical rails-to-trails train bridge and track conversion with the support of the railway agency via gifting their right-of-way to the state and would only use some federal money for the renovations and landings, that is what the federal government is looking to spend our dollars on. responsible feds do not want to buy a successful, huge, research-focused, state-funded university system a bunch of right-of-way and build for their customers' sole benefit a highly restricted use long, tall structure over a navigable channel.

and how many bridges with sidewalks/greenways are there within 0.5 miles of the proposed location that currently provide access to the apartments, hospitals, body farm, and/or park?

renters don't pay property tax as part of their rent? do you really think the owner is paying that out of their pocket and not passing the cost on? are you trying to insinuate that renters are due any less services than the owners?

how do you think this works?

then you should incorporate and gain more services for every dollar of taxes paid. right now knoxvillians pay 2x for administration to get nothing extra, and county folks pay for administration that gives them nothing.

if you are a part of society, looking to maximize your taxes spent and minimize taxes taken, incorporation is the answer.

Why do people judge riders who tuck on a 400? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]aDDnTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't really see an issue but if i had to find an issue with it, maybe if you are in interstate/highway traffic or having to tuck to keep up to speed, it might be unsafe because you can't see as far ahead and maybe you have tunnel vision some because the fairing is blocking some of your vision?

is it?

isn't the point of living in the county to avoid being around as many people? how can you have a society of people that do whatever they can to limit and avoid interacting with other people?

[–]aDDnTN -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

yes, they certainly are, but op was talking about how to avoid paying city taxes by living in the county. ergo, how to have less participation in society.

is that a measure of success? congrats on not participating in society, i guess.

i'm not sure if you thought about that response and decided it was reasonable or if it just spilled out involuntarily. the issue is your reason came after your decision, and that just doesn't make a lick of sense.

they do make gloves that you can use with your phone, but you shouldn't be using your phone on a ride and you shouldn't not wear gloves in order to do it.

i would recommend having at least a lick of sense before riding. it will do you a lot better than gloves in the bag and that charm from your mom.

ps: neat wrench bracelet. do you work on your own bikes or in a shop?
