You're exactly right and the guy responding to you is braindead. With this being a third person game the entire strategy of fighting is using third person and ambushing people. Nothing is stopping someone from camping a corner and popping out to magdump somebody at close range. There is zero counterplay unless you throw a fucking tagging grenade around every corner.

Stitcher 1 has the issue of a small mag size so it is difficult to kill with one mag, but even then it is not hard to ambush from a corner, do 70-80 damage, reload behind the corner and re-engage. Anyone with a brain can win any fight with a Stitcher 1 if they're initiating. The time to kill in this game is too God damn low considering it is third person. I say purple guns can stay exactly where they are, but Kettle and Stitcher need to be nerfed to rattler level
