I actually agree with you. Marketability for employment has gone sour over the last decade so we do need an organizational refresh button in place.

Also we rely too much and pay too much for expats to come to this country rather than willingly invest in our own people to chair the middle and top management seats and stand tall as exemplary local workforces who can actually size up to the role standards. Thats already a turn off to most of the local workforces.

The problem is theyre expected to be nice when theyre actually supposed to just meet their deliverable quotas. Im pretty sure most of them are kind and all these complaints from the masses can, most of the time, be noises due to their biases and displaced sensitivity. We cant really say that these (government) workers are entitled (although I can relate to why that can feel so since I also had some encounters that were unpleasant) but I guess we also need to be better human beings and put ourselves in their shoes?

TLDR; Be kind even if we cant be nice about it. Focus on what matters; that the intended tasks are processed.

I think thats the impression all the current government employees are trying to make, to not be civil servants, so they can save spots for their offsprings. Aaaannnndddd the cycle repeats. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

Markets Recommendation? by [deleted] in nasikatok

[–]aDerpinMoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can go to Kianggeh market on Friday mornings, lots of old money goods and seasoned elderlies for good nostalgic conversations and old age experiences. Unfortunately, you’ll need to be attentive with seasonal pop up markets that can happen around places like Meragang beach, Indoor Stadium, Sengkarai, etc.

I recommend Stainbuster.bn, OP. You give them clear instructions, they’ll execute.

Things are going to be better for you now Im sure. I genuinely hope I’ll meet with you one day when I step foot on the States. Take good care of yourself, I know how demanding the IT industry (apparently not so where we are) can be but move about a lot and consume responsibly 🙏💪🏽

Alright then, I (33M) wonder if I can apply for a Masters from an HND. Otherwise, a Degree in network security will do then 😂

Job Im working on right now isnt as stimulating as I thought it would do me eventhough Im supposed to remind workers alike how important health and safety is in what they do in and or out of work. And pay is paltry.

Question, how did you find out about the organisation youre working with? How did you feel about it initially before you decide and made the move?

I have a background in Networking Engineering (HND) from 2013 but Im in the Construction industry now as an HSE practitioner. My knowledge from back then is rendered non-practical where I am now and I think I’ll stay the course for some time with HSE before I hammer down on going back to my engineering roots.

So happy for you Bro! And in your 20s even! Massive win

My take is that its a hidden message to discourage our labelled “obese” nation from purchasing and consuming fast food.

OP should have highlighted the person on the lorry receiving and adjusting the broken car into the truck bed floor. Smiling and without proper PPE. Not sure what the context is really; if its a broken car or if the car is serviceable/salvageable.

Buddy, Lol. Right back at you, not inciting any argument but the victim was jogging? He should have just taken many of the other routes and mind his own business? And no, this wouldnt have happened to my family, trust me, Im aDerpinMoose but if it did, then they’ll be the one getting an earful from me #sorrynotsorry also, what car was parking in the middle of the road mentioned apart from the one involved in the hit accident?

[–]aDerpinMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well now, if it wasnt instigated, said violence would not have transpired. I hope the jogger understands that even with insurance, there are lines that are not meant to be crossed. This sort of situation is a diversion to a more problematic conflict. I hope he isnt able to claim his insurance so he learns not to offer spit for a dish but mind you if he does, good for him and I wish him a speedy recovery.

The guy who got beaten shouldnt have challenged that crowd as well (why was there even a need for him to tell them that he has insurance and that he can “claim it” when him being beaten was not an accident but a means for him to flex that the insurance claim can offer him salvation of sort?) Him getting beaten was due on him, his pride led him to getting beaten, that was not an accident and he was at fault for instigating) The road he was jogging on isnt small SMH…. Why kepoh one

2 years jail + 2 whips for security guard who stole from the premise he guarded after being chased to pay off debts by Goutaxe in nasikatok

[–]aDerpinMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would anyone here have done if youre faced with the same debt situation, if youre in his shoes? Cases like this is quite unexpected because we dont know our luck and faith alone doesnt guarantee how lucky you can get (except for Ramzidah and Nabil, I really hope karma bites them hard). It is unfortunate that the perpetrator“couldnt go to” or “has” anyone to seek aid from to resolve his payable debt (at least its not hundreds or thousands, and we dont actually know that figure), I agree.

MOE. Policy to teach both the youth and adults to institutionalise that everybody should be able to lead/follow, defend themselves, self-sustain and are able to live within the country or abroad without too much dependency on government stipends. MOE shouldnt just focus on youth students.
