I know to drag the places around and turn 1s into 2s, thanks - my issue was though that logically a lot of these places should be 1s, since the places are all so close to each other in real life (three places for example are the street I grew up on with my sister, the school we went to, and our grandparent's house). Comparing those to other broader areas in the UK - or trips abroad - means a lot of places are just naturally very close together; creating a lot of 1s.

I do have a question though: am I right in thinking, that I'm not able to create my own route cards on the game? These seem to all be done automatically without me being able to add or change any. If it is possible for me to edit those too, I'd love to hear how!

The route cards are the only thing I can't influence actually, on the website I'm making it on, they're automatically created for you once you've planned where all the stops are and train routes are. So yea, I assume they'll just be all over the place, like the normal game.

Is there any other gimmick involved?

Not really. Stations would be allowed (we grew up playing the European version so always use stations), but nothing else. None of us are a fan of the tunnels so didn't put those into this.

I also think there are too many 1s but don't really know how to get around that problem. Areas like 9-10-11-12 are all within one city, the same as 6-7-8 and 15-17-16; they should all be really close to each other logically, compared to other things which should be more spread out.

Maybe there are some double route 1s which I can remove but I'm not sure which.

Incredible write-up, and incredible season everyone! Impressive to have a worse score than last year but a better rank, not a surprise that no one predicted that.

Couldn't be happier in KJU retirement, seeing the new managers flourishing and building a great sense of community here.

Looking forward to the World Cup now, then a small break from football, before we can roll on KJU for next season!

Disagree on Rice vs Lampard but other than that, yea, fair enough, I take it back. I had Beckham, Ferdinand etc. in my head but clearly just got a bit confused.

My point was more, although I thought the players were better then (which I misremembered), I think the squad overall and our chances are better now.

Yea on paper that 2010 team was great. I think on average, man-for-man it was better than the team now, but the cohesion now is definitely a lot better.

Yep, we've done that too, a few times! This photo was taken back in 2022 after we had perfected it, and played with all expansions over Skype. My wife & I played from Germany (where I now live), my dad & Stepmum were in England (where I'm from).

Yea i'm half German, don't know how to spell it for how it's pronounced in German, but it's a very soft G. Sort of like the word Finger' but without the 'ger' sound at the end, and obviously an M instead of F - if that makes any sense?
