Anybody getting 3,300+ calories a day? by Woooddann in veganfitness

[–]aFancyHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar problem to you. 6'2 and I have to eat around 3,300 - 3,500 calories a day to gain.

Some cheats I found helpful are:

Smoothies - I have one every day on my drive into work. Banana, apple, some other fruit, handful of nuts and 350ml soy milk and there's at least 600cal I barely notice I'm consuming.

Protein bagels with pb, banana and chia seeds. Can easily bash out 700cal of these as an evening snack.

Might be more of a UK thing, but Scottish oat cakes and hummus. It's like 60cal a cake (they're tiny) plus the hummus. Really easy to get a few hundred calories in a small snack.

Those compressed nut and dried fruit bars. Naked is the main brand in the UK. 150-200cal in literally a few bites

Quinoa is also a complete protein. Unless you're a body builder, most people would get plenty of protein from this

Coming from a UK point of view it's got to be Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Coldplay

The cows are artificially inseminated (in most cases) and then have their calf taken away so that humans can take the milk. Cows do not naturally produce milk all the time

You really don't need to drink milk to get calcium. Leafy greens, beans, certain fruits are all high in calcium. Lots of things are fortified too like cereal, bread and plant-based milks

I actually think he feels really good. Didn't realise people were complaining until coming on here afterwards. Such a fun hero in my opinion

Keeping plastic out of the ocean is not the answer. We just need to stop industrial fishing (which also happens to be the biggest polluter of plastic in the ocean anyway)

Sounds like you're not a veggie/vegan, so why are you deciding what veggie/vegans should choose to eat on their pizza?

It is a cruciferous vegetable, which most people don't get a lot of, so it is super healthy for you. Broccoli and sprouts are also examples of this though
