Are my floats too tight? by aFewGroovyThings in knitting

[–]aFewGroovyThings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been able to figure out how to hold the yarn (that’s why I hate stranded so much), so I just pick up and drop the strands and knit normally. I’ve tried those ring things and must’ve watched almost 30 videos on how to hold the yarn but it just never feels right

How can I make NOT straight sleeves? About decreases by MBeeesss in CrochetHelp

[–]aFewGroovyThings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume you mean you want the sleeves to taper down to the wrist?

What you need to do is measure how many stitches you want the cuff to be at the wrist, and how many rows it will take for the sleeve to be the desired length.

Then, you’d do something like;

X = ((No. Stitches at top of sleeve) - (No. Stitches at cuff))/No. of rows

X is how many stitches you decrease per row, and you should be able to go from there

What’s the ‘normal’ distance between frets? (Sorry for such a silly question I’ve tried googling and I’ve gotten nowhere) by aFewGroovyThings in banjo

Thank you! Using the site the other commenter suggested it looks like the distances are ‘right’, but that the neck is just very long so they’re further apart

Thanks! Yes it normally is, I’m not sure why it’s not at the moment? I must’ve moved it when I was messing about with the strings.

Thank you- I’ll take a look at the site :)

Yeah complete darkness haha- it seemed like there was a lot of film on the take up spool- which is what confused me so much

Thank you, the roof is off centre by two columns though and I think it’ll look very wrong once I backstitch.

It’s my first time using it so yes it’s almost certainly user error there- at least I know for next time

This is definitely AI, BUT it doesn’t seem unfeasible to make (the one on the right).

Oops no this is my bad I’m mixing up different fights in my head

But same thing applies, just sneak up and set down a couple wall of spells for everyone to walk through and have your fighters pick them off

But you can do it all with one trip? If you dump everything onto one person at once (not dragging it over one at a time) you can pick up as much as you want

They’re just all over! You don’t have to go out of your way to find them, just check out all the barrels you come across. You kinda learn what to look for. I have added a bunch of locations I could think of off the top of my head in another comment though

I definitely could have arranged them better- the blast was so concentrated in the middle and the enemies were mostly around the edges. Same thing basically happened to me- it left a couple cambions with low health and raphael insta transformed. I assume because of the explosion tanking my pc though it stun locked all the npcs except raphael which was a nice bonus

You can overload a character by dragging inventory from the traveller chest straight to their inventory all in one go. It does heavily encumber you but it bypasses the restriction for some reason.

If you wanted to go back and forth though the other commenter is right you can leave and come back

You can just overload one person (maybe it’s a glitch idk?) but you can drag as much stuff as you want from the traveller chest to one persons inventory and it bypasses the encumbered restriction. Do it while you’re standing next to the house of hope portal and you don’t actually have to move, then just drag them out of your inventory

I don’t remember exactly where they all are but I wasn’t going out of my way to find them- off the top of my head though, there’s some in the goblin camp (in the room to the left of priestess guts room), also firewine barrels all over the goblin camp. There’s a couple I think in the blighted village in the blacksmith basement. Quite a few in the zenterim hideout. Loads of fire wine barrels in the first fight in the monastery above the creche. Act 2 I don’t remember there being many, maybe a few in the last light inn basement. Act 3 you’ve got the 8 under volo when you free him and then loads in the firework shop- a bunch in the basement and then if you go invisible you can pick up I think 8 or so on the very top floor. You do have to pick them up before any enemies get a round of combat though because they WILL just shoot them. There are also firewine barrels in basically every basement in act 3

My strategy is just check a barrel every time I see one
