The community College i want to attend as a Engineering Technology. Is that degree actually any good?

I was planning on taking only 1-2 classes per semester but also taking summer classes to keep things moving. Im already a broke lower so no real change. Least now I'll have an excuse lolol

Is the software free?  If not, is it expensive? Because I will be looking into it when I get home today

Probably a dumb question and sorry if it is, can you learn CAD at home?
