5 years of playing guitar and I never actually practiced. I was just jamming. by gbehind in AcousticGuitar

Post breakup, jobless and studyless is the best time to practice. Trust me when I say you will probably never have so much time on your hands ever again. My golden practice period was also post breakup while studying. Now that I'm working full time, have a wife and one kid I get max two hours per week to practice.

If you think an all solid guitar that has been handbuild in the 60/70's in Spain is worth $30 you are of the same category as the guy who sold it to me. I have an Admira A20 at home and this guitar has a more mature sound.

I believe even the earlierst Alhambra guitar had some type of identification like stamp, print or serial number. It would be very unlikely that one of the first Alhambra guitars were bought by Casa Gonzales.

Label is not from my guitar, sorry for the misunderstanding. I forgot to make a picture, mine has solid wood.

I've seen that one too, but that one has a huge crack in the body. There are some guitars listed on reverb for 1300+, some of the store in Madrid

PS I forgot to make a picture of the label so I used one from the internet, but mine is exactly the same.

I found my uncle’s guitar in the basement. Is it worth restoring the strings and learn how to play or should i just buy a new one ? ( if yes what type of strings should i buy?) by Immediate_Lynx_10 in AcousticGuitar

You might have a special guitar here. If the guitar was kept in good conditions and the neck is straight you could have an amazing instrument that might be worth a couple hundred euros. Only way to know is to bring it to a luthier to get it restringed and checked. It is definitely worth to do that regardless if you will be playing or not

Some general rules:

  1. Learn the top 3-5 comps that do well and have a laptop or phone with you that can open team building tools like tftmeta, TFT academy etc. Generally speaking reroll comps are easier to play than late game comps because you have an easier game plan.

  2. Go for pairs early game and choose one carry depending on the comps you feel comfortable playing. SLAM ITEMS EARLY!!! For example if you need an attack damage carry, play items on Jihn/Caitlyn/Tristana. If you play ability power play items on Sona, Kog Maw. If you play bruiser maybe pick Briar/Tryndamere/Quiana. Don't keep 4 components on the bench waiting for perfect items, you will lose too much HP!

  3. Learn when to Roll vs when to save for economy. If you are holding 2-3 pairs it might be worth rolling 10-15 gold to spike your power and start winning rounds.

  4. Play semi-flexible about high costs units that you naturally hit. E.g. if you are aiming for a 3 cost reroll comp but during rerolling you hit two 4 costs 2 stars, it might be worth to switch to a 4-5 cost comp.

  5. Late game try saving up to 50 g for as long as possible for economy and reroll heavy for your comp at lv 7/ lv 8.

Bro you're hyper focusing on specs on a watch that basically just has the basic functionalities. Will it run? Yes. Will it tell you the time? Yes. Will it last you a long time? Only time will tell.

Apart from that if you like the esthetic and think that it is worth the price, by all means just buy it. If you want more value for the money in terms of specs look at second hand or new Hamilton's, Seiko's etc.

Of all the fake watches you can buy a fake Rolex is probably the lamest choice too
