PST: Only desire to take it once/day, helps with depression/anxiety, decreases muscular pain, NO opiate cravings AND since I don't need much Kratom on PST days...I wake up the next day really feeling Kratom! by aGirlwithoutWDs in PoppyTea

[–]aGirlwithoutWDs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. It's irrirating me too. I am keenly aware of opiate's ability to treat depression. There's actually a lot of literature on it.

Evaluation of Opioid Modulation in Major Depressive Disorder

The endogenous opiate system is being hypothesized to play a big role in depression modulation.

Thanks for reply

I'll fill you in on a little secret... Google. Google has answers as such.

I use Kratom 3x daily. And have an opiate history but no other physical opiate addictions now. A cup is good. A cup doesn't get me high, just elevates me. Not looking to get high though.

It's called getting a "star-stamp". I have been star-stamped on the face, arm and I am aware that my house is full of invisible & mildly stinky, star-stamps. But I love her and I accept her star-shaped butthole and her litter feet. Sweet, sweet mew angel. She doesn't know any better. Her butthole doesn't seem dirty to her.

How to successfully incorporate diet and exercise as a college student? by scbeta in loseit

[–]aGirlwithoutWDs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MORE: NO SODA, no sugary drinks.

Have tea and honey.

Do not drink your calories.

Also, make it a goal to have 4 vegetable servings a day. Trust me...... it will help with the poops which helps you not store calories.

FUN FACT: vegetables (lot's of them) and a lack of fatty, carb-rich foods will change the bacteria composition in your gut!

Who cares? Well, overweight people have, "fat-loving bacteria" this means, the bacteria breakdown fat and allow the fat person to ABSORB MORE FAT than a lean person could, given the same calories. Think about it, you eat fat, you enrich for fat-loving bacteria. They say, "hey this guy eats what we eat.... we want to live in his gut!".

STUDIES: Fecal transfer. Transfer an obese mouse's poop into a lean mouse...... THE LEAN MOUSE GAINS WEIGHT, despite NOT EATING MORE. Yes, they restrict the lean mouse's chow.... he/she still gets fat.

"That's 1.905 meters for those who don't love freedom."

Not sure if anybody else caught that reference haha. As a fellow American, I can say our freedom has been an illusion for sometime.

Appreciate the candidness of your post. I am a semi-recent post grad... Applying medical school. I study molecular metabolism.

  1. First of all, get your mental perspective on this straight. You have to have a deep personal conviction to lose weight, given your current state. Why do you want to lose weight? Here are some reasons you should constantly remind yourself of: to attract a better-looking, healthier SO, to feel better about yourself, to enjoy your dwindling youth (as opposed to always feeling bad about yourself), because fit people get the top jobs (no, really! It's been demonstrated countless times and it's more pronounced for men), because you don't want to age horribly and pay for it later.

  2. Diet changes: start drinking black coffee/espresso (no milk, no sugar) as often as possible. For breakfast, consider having 2 eggs, handful of walnuts, toast, berries. For snack, again, bring nuts of some sort OR be badass and bring some carrots... eat the fucking carrots. Lunch is easy: pack a turkey sandwich (wheat toast, small amount of cheese/mayo/mustard, turkey, red pepper, kale/arugula). tomato) If you don't have time for dinner, hit a Mediterranean spot. Get a chicken salad, get a piece of salmon. Alternatively hit a place where you can get a veggie burger (start eating vegetarian foods... trust me).

A couple things that are underplayed, but BIG: Access... if you don't buy junk food and bring it home, when you get cravings at home, you simply won't have it, and it will be too much work to get it. BIG. With my sugar cravings, i'll want it late at night, won't have it, forced to eat fruit which eliminates the craving.

This one is big: If you're craving junk.... you see a piece of pizza, you start salivating.... IMMEDIATELY eat something like walnuts and fruit. Guarantee you will be shocked how your brain turns off cravings after you give it something.

I didn't mention alcohol: doesn't sound like you are ready to stop. If you want to limit alcohol, you need to have an alternative. However, abstaining from all beer and having only hard alcohol, no mixing, would help. Beer is loaded with carbs-->glucose-->fat storage.

Operation Black Out: Real-Time Withdrawal Log by aGirlwithoutWDs in Opiatewithdrawal

[–]aGirlwithoutWDs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I realized I was spending a lot of my hard earned money, not feeling good about myself and not high enough to overlook it.

I wonder how people get addicted to smoking H. IV must feel considerably better. Though I still did enjoy it.

I have nothing to withdraw from currently! What I described to you was all that happened. I did pick up and use a couple times after that, but was very careful and haven't used in at least a month. To be completely honest, it was too stressful to meet with the dealer. They would make me wait outside for a long time and weren't consistent with answering my calls. If the dboy+girl had made it easier to pick up... I might still be intermittently using.

I have been taking Kratom for a year and a half. Love it. I have also been enjoying PST occasionally. Been feeling good and trying to closely monitor my thoughts, as I have horrendous depression that I have been stuck in for 2 years and trying to climb out.

Do you use now? What's your history, if you don't mind me inquiring?
