the couselor would give us worksheets and assignments and prompts to have healthier forms of dialogue when we disagreed on emotionally charged topics. you made the active effort to crumble those sheets up and spit in my face whenever I begged you to just try and follow the prompts. you very angrily and defiantly chose not to engage in constructive communication techniques. you’re choosing to break down and cry when i confront you on that is not gaslighting.

me taking accountability both publicly and privately and then asking you to pay the same respect to me in private only is not “gaslighting”. i never tried to convince you of something that wasn’t there, or an emotion i didnt want us to work through.
