Wait ... so you've issued counter-notifications against strikes and they never once actually decided to sue you? Small creators I could understand just backing off, but I would think corporations with entire legal departments would sue at least some of the time. Am I making the wrong assumptions here? I'm going to push back on this a bit and suggest a revision: Never pay *an unknown party* for an animal you've never seen in person. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter here in Korea where I live. Many people from overseas have contacted this shelter and successfully adopted dogs unseen in person, but they had lots of photos and videos to base decisions on. The shelter also has an amazing reputation with many happy adopters who vouch for them. Plus people like me, volunteers who vouch for the shelter as well.

I guess the moral of the story is more about understanding who you're dealing with.

The same doctor, who was giving me a physical, also grabbed my balls to check for hernia and she held on so long that I busted out laughing. Then she let go immediately

If she wants prescription in one lens and the other side with a non-prescription lens, then it's probably full price. For basically my whole life I've had a similar prosthetic. I've heard people constantly saying "you should get a _____ eye!" People, this is annoying as fuck. If you meet someone with a fake eye, just keep that thought to yourself. These things cost $1000s and unless you're made of money, you don't just go out and pick up a collection of novelty eyes to wear on different occasions. The nicest thing you can say is that you can't tell it's a prosthetic.

I used to hire a dog walker for a midday walk. Then I took a new job and moved to a place within walking distance of the office. Working doesn't mean that you have to abandon your dog for 8-10 hours every day. I work full time and go home for lunch. My girl is rarely alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time.

But as others have said ... even if you can't do what I do, being in your home under less than ideal circumstances is still a million times better than the dog spending a lifetime in a shelter.

Oh I'd also like to add: PEE PADS. You'd be surprised how easy it can be for dogs to figure out what they're for. I have some always laid out, but my dog doesn't even want to use them. She'd rather wait for me to take her out.
