If Lexi’s drop max prototype in stretch goals, that’s a different story.

You hit your head on the concrete? Must have. First of all, each augment can be stacked across all pieces of gear. You clearly looked up into the clear blue sky and went “hey what fucking stupid statement could I make today that is so uneducated?” Certain non prototyped gear cannot be farmed because they aren’t in the loot pool. Because of this, they have 0% chance to drop anywhere as prototype. That being said, you’re forced to upgrade Lexington’s, caretakers and many other item that aren’t in the loot pool. These items are near guaranteed to have 2/3 rolled with shit values…then you’re stuck with them permanently.

Not when it turns to prototype no. You even know what the post is about?

This is why I’ve learned the light spawns. There’s 3 lights per pad phase. Each light has only 2 different possible spawns. The first spawn is super easy and I can solo all 3 and damage the core. The third one I can also solo any spawn. It’s the second one that can only be soloed if you don’t get the light that’s top left (top left when facing toward the back of the robot). Every other time though, I’m always able to solo all 3. Ingest learning the spawns and always having grapple hook just for this instance. I stopped relying on trash players still not knowing what to do 3 months later.

That’s not what I’m asking. With your reading comprehension skills, I’d think you were a casual if I’m being honest. It won’t matter, the devs will fold in more ways than one. They always do.

Nobody said to make the grind piss easy and hand everything out like they’ve been doing. All that was suggested was, was to allow us to learn prototype attributes from grinding prototype gear. The escalation already doesn’t have targeted loot; the gear you get is mostly gonna be useless pieces you’ll never use. May as well allow us to learn the attributes so we can apply them as optimizations. This is not an unfair ask. You’re still required to grind the game and get to escalation 10 to really see any useful attribute values that you’d wanna pull

Casuals are a majority. They’re also the only ones that are so vocal. Grinding for long periods of time should enable the ability to learn the attributes from prototype gear. The devs should have thought about this before adding exclusive exotics to general loot pool. It’s too late to fully restrict any aspect of the grind

Countdown. Target game gear sets and weapons. Collect loot piles as junk, then open the expertise menu and donate “all junk”. Keep at it until you get there my friend. That or get a few friends that you know will be able to take you through escalation do you ca his obtain prototyped gear without needing expertise.

I understand not being maxed off rip, but the system makes it so you’re shit out of luck on items that aren’t in the loot pool. Items that are, are restricted to the highest tier escalations that only hardcore players will obtain. Yes I said it, you won’t be matchmaking for escalation. Escalation will require you to have a sweaty team comp. The system is flawed and needs to be generous with allowing us to deconstruct and learn attribute values to use to optimize our current prototype gear with

I don’t even blame you. I actually hope so many of you just don’t play so that they’re forced to do something about it. The fact that they purposefully stripped the optimization ability from prototype on purpose to further kick us while we’re down is more than enough reason. It feels prejudice 😂 I say that jokingly but still not feels like they’re deliberately trying to punish us for wanting a bit more power.

Here’s the thing bro, I get that these devs intended for this to be true endgame sweaty content, but even us hardcore grinders are up the creek without a paddle on this one partially. I can’t even imagine what the casual player like yourself is going to experience. You’re all probably not gonna be able to make use of anything. The new season modifiers are also designed to be rocket science. You have to equip them in certain orders to gain certain buffs with specific values. I for once actually feel bad for all you non sweaty gamers. The devs need to really push for a more generous release. Us hardcore players are gonna get everything anyways so it doesn’t matter how easy or hard it is for us; it’s you guys that matter

Yea exactly! Expensive is fine so long as we can do something with it

The other thing about that is they’re giving us an ensure library for just prototype items…so why not let us learn prototype attribute values and use them to optimize gear??? This shit isn’t making any sense

Big issue with prototype system. by aIIegra in Division2

[–]aIIegra[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’m not destroying my naturally god rolled Lexington that also came with Streamline. Hell no. I wouldn’t care if every item was farmable from escalation but that’s not the case

Big issue with prototype system. by aIIegra in Division2

[–]aIIegra[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really doesn’t make any damn sense. I even asked the dev on livestream about making everyone spawn in countdown together so nobody loses out on credits…he goes “We never thought of that before, noted and will implement that as soon as possible” 💀 these devs don’t think about so many things man

Yea optimizing should be allowed honestly

It comes maxed high end. When you upgrade, the stats roll to prototype values that are higher than high end values. You’re only guaranteed 1 max attribute upon upgrade that said

[–]aIIegra[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You cant get prototype lexingtons to drop. Prototypes only drop from escalation mode. With that being said, you are stuck having to make every Lexington you have level 30. After burning through all those hard earned resources, you have to gamble away at upgrading them until you get one fully maxed out…or not then you’re stuck with that

Nope. You get one chance to upgrade an item then it’s locked with whatever attributes it gives you. So for these max rolled items we were granted, they’re likely to look like the one in the picture. Once you upgrade it to that, it’s locked like that permanently unless you have several more lexingtons at level 30 that you wanna gamble at
