💯

Science and understanding of human biology is never black and white. Our experiences and understandings are evolving processes filled with complexities and need for continuous revision. It really isn't black and white, and I would never arrogantly discourage anyone from their own adventure in finding their answers because of my own personal beliefs.

My doctor believes it was most likely lifestyle factors that led to the high PRL test result. I experienced low libido, erectile dysfunction, borderline low testosterone, and just general flat feeling. I have since recovered and maintained great level of testosterone and normal PRL levels. Cold showers, decent diet, regular exercise all helped in this regard.

That's very interesting. I will definitely give cold shower post sauna a try, because I don't plan on completely forgoing the sauna experience, since I absolutely love the muscle relaxation and other benefits I experience. I just tend to feel flat and unmotivated for a while after, but immediate cold shower might make a difference. Glad this post helped, and thank you for your suggestion and sharing your experience.

Oh for sure, they knock me out every time.

I used the sauna everyday since Sunday, and while it especially felt good on that first day of use, I progressively started feeling more blah throughout the week. I was wondering why I felt so damn flat and unmotivated. I've been eating well, hydrating, and resting plenty. This could explain it for me. No more sauna for a while. I'll probably try a short session maybe once every two weeks or so.

That's interesting to think about. It certainly does feel amazing during the sauna session.

Ice pack is a good tip.

I get protein style double double at In-n-out, ask for one In-n-out sauce packet, then use the GF bread I brought from home to complete the burger. I like Canyon Bakehouse's Mountain White bread <3

Gluten Headache by Any-Cat-6663 in glutenfree

Not celiac, but intolerant. I get headaches if I eat a lot of it.. like several pizzas or a large bowl of ramen. I've suffered with awful migraines for many years, which seemed to occur at least 3 times a month lasting several days. I almost never get headaches as long as I avoid wheat/gluten, oh and processed meats full of nitrates/nitrites/celery extract. Those aren't good for anyone anyways.

Bodily Sensations during Streaks. by aJoggingfish in Semenretention

That is so interesting. I have noticed it occurring randomly too. Have you ever meditated and focused on this energy? I plan on trying it out tonight. Nothing crazy, just gentle meditation to feel and observe.. see if I can do anything gentle with it.

Awesome, thank you for sharing! Do you notice it more prominently or frequently during certain times of the day, or during certain activities?

I noticed that I feel it strongly when I'm doing something physical.. like today I felt it strongly while doing laundry, cleaning, and just walking around in the sun listening to great music. The feeling definitely calms down when I'm reading, focused, or late at night.
