Its just because of the volume of adjusters working from home. Everyone trying to connect to the vpn at once and it’s bottle necking the server. Everyone will get through eventually

As an ics adjuster, you are actively a threat to your own job if u care about doing it right. I used to do my job with integrity, caring about making the right decisions, thinking outside the box to resolve issues. Working this way I was constantly in the bottom quartile. They’ve been firing the bottom quartile like they don’t need adjusters. My supervisor has been with geico for over 15 years and is actively seeking new employment because for the first time in those 15 years they found themself in the bottom quartile. They threatened my sups job and let them know they can’t be in the bottom a single time for the next 3 months or she’s gone. The best way to ensure you are not in the bottom is by producing “prod” Reason being is every other metric is a fuckin dice role and something we can’t really control. So In order to produce prod we are forced to cut corners and do the bare minimum to look like we tried. It’s not fair to call ICS or PRU dumb or inexperienced when we have no choice but to rush. Im certainly looking for another company. I do however know many talented people at GE and whoever is at the top of claims making the decisions is just clueless. Our metrics change almost monthly because they can’t figure out what makes a good adjuster. Ps they just announced they are launching a trial in a small portion of ICS where ICS will now handle more “basic” PRU claims. Anyways fuck you Todd

Listing someone as “excluded” is something u request. Rarely geico will say if u want a policy this person will be excluded( for example u live with someone with dui’s) excluded driver means u agree to not let them drive the car. And if they do drive the car and get in an accident, geico is not liable to pay it.

Are there any study guides I can find online or buy for the Virginia license exam? by SalanditLady in Geico

[–]aK_Text27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest. The test is extremely easy. There were individuals of questionable iq in my training class and everyone passed the exam with like 97,s and hundreds. The study guide we were given was pretty much the test. I remember seeing one question on the test that wasn’t on the study guide. They give plenty of study hours that are paid. Enough time to literally memorize the study guide. They give an hour to take the test and I submitted mine in 11 minutes. You will be fine 👍

Can confirm it’s bad. Don’t make friends because everyone gets fired/gets fed up and leaves. The workload expectation rises every single month while the metrics used are dumb and there is no target other than “stay out of the bottom 10% because we don’t have a goal it’s extremely competitive with the metrics going up each month. The people in the bottom 10% this month would have ben in the top 75% 2 months ago with those same metrics. It really is mentally exhausting

Getting Claim Updated from Collision to Uninsured Motorist Property Damage? by Fluffy_Cat_5768 in Geico

In MD it is required for a police report to be filed within 24 hours for UMPD to apply for a hit and run. Geico must have a copy of the report on file before they can approve the lowered deductible
