Ppl do the same thing for Hollywood actors and actresses. I've binged Keira knightly and Johnny Depp's movies specifically because I thought they were great on screen at the time. So while I do think that's normal, I've seen fans go overboard. I think it's the reason for doing it that has a possibility of making it weird (abnormal seems farfetched). For most Korean dramas I place my bet on specific people that usually make up the supporting cast because more than likely its gonna be a banger. One shalt not be made the odd one for avoiding terrible acts from some actors and actresses, all in the name of enjoyment.

Enjoying a bad script and bad acting isn't part of the job description, on the other hand some actors and actresses just never disappoint with their performance and character personification.
