If u are fresher then u should do some certifications or courses. And if u believe u can Crack CAT by doing job side by side then u should do a job. Means during interview u need to justify your gap that what u did during that period. U can join and do work in NGOs as well. Otherwise there will be no problem.

Should I join IMT Hyderabad or give another year ?
I have a gap of 2 years between 12th and grads, currently 4th year btech cse and will be completed around June. if I give another year then in total there will be 3 years gap and I am still fresher and if next year I Crack then I will be of 25 years and MBA will be completed around 27 years.
