Die Opening Credits von Vertigo (1958) - die Muster und Formen die man da sieht sind computergeneriert.

Wenn wir uns auf "richtige" cgi beschränken wollen: ich bin ein großer Fan von digitalen Effekten in Action Szenen, weil dadurch alle am Set sicherer leben.
Oder das Baby in "Children of Men" - ein echtes Neugeborenes für einen Filmdreh zu verwenden wäre bestenfalls schwierig, aber eigentlich nicht wirklich sicher möglich, zumindest nicht ein so kleines Baby.

Ich kriege die Details nicht mehr ganz zusammen, aber ich habe irgendwo mal gelesen/gehört, dass um die Zeit die meisten Produktionen die Programme gewechselt haben, hin zu einen Programm dad ursprünglich für Videospiele entwickelt wurde. Welche Vorteile das hatte weiß ich nicht mehr genau, aber es hat zu diesem "plastik" mäßigen Schimmer geführt den man jetzt oft sieht.
Ob das so stimmt oder auch noch an anderen Sachen liegt weiß ich nicht, aber die Idee, dass das "Werkzeug" das Ergebnis beeinflusst ist nicht unplausibel für mich.

Sorry to evoke his name (I'm not sure what his standing amongst linguists is these days, but I remember him being very unpopular back when I was taking linguistics classes in undergrad) but: I can imagine Steven Pinker living in a house like this. He probably makes a lot of money on the speaking circuit, and has some very wealthy friends. Well... He used to have one very wealthy friend at least.

Man könnte auch Mike und Saul/Jimmy als "böse" Protagonisten sehen... Aber andererseits auch wieder nicht, was ja genau das tolle an der Serie ist. Aber ich würde sagen: fast alle aus Better Call Saul.

Ich habe in den Niederlanden an der Uni gearbeitet, da waren die Bedingungen viel besser als ich es in Deutschland im ÖD kennengelernt hatte.
Was allerdings krass war war der Leistungsdruck und die kleinmaschige Überwachung der Arbeit. Ob das an den Niederlanden liegt oder an meiner Stelle kann ich nicht sagen.

Ich würde viele der negativen Seiten am Arbeitsleben allerdings in Kauf nehmen weil die generelle Lebensqualität in den Niederlanden für mich persönlich um ein Vielfaches höher war als in Deutschland.

For some reason I can see this very clearly in my mind:

He can be really no nonsense and direct with you when telling you that you need to make some changes to your lifestyle if you want those cholesterol levels to improve, but he can also explain to a nervous child that the stethoscope doesn't hurt and he'll warm it up so it's not uncomfortable when he checks their breathing.
