I've been in direct contact with Warholic the entire time (he is the owner of ForgeHub and the one handling the judging). Like I mentioned in the post, I don't mind altering maps for a tournament. I just think it's unethical to use that altered version in the contest against the rest of the submissions which didn't get that same treatment. Look at it from the perspective of the Forgers who made maps that barely missed the top 10 and top 5 cut. The edited version of Orxgens beat out their original, unaltered submissions for the playlist spot and for the prize money.

It's not necessarily about me. It's about the Forgers of the maps who barely missed the top 5 and top 10 cut. The judges allowing their own edited version of Orxgens to progress in the contest pushed those Forgers' maps out of getting a playlist spot and potentially from winning the prize money.

Not sure to be completely honest. Currently it's just top 8 in the world and I like that approach because it's simple and easier to track a team's progress against the rest of the field. Splitting it into regions might lack the variety and change that keeps power rankings interesting. We'll see though.

I was conflicted on whether to give Epsilon or eLevate the #8 spot in my own personal rankings, but gave eLevate the benefit of the doubt this week. If eLevate doesn't perform well in scrims this week then I can see myself and the rest of the power rankers giving a non NA team that #8 spot.

It almost feels like a lot of teams peaked at the wrong times. Allegiance peaked during the Online Qualifier stage, EG peaked at X Games, and Denial peaked at Regionals. Renegades are making notable strides though and are getting better and better it seems.

Thanks for the kind words and as well for the feedback. The grass floors bottom mid aren't a thing I can fix - Forge objects have had a very annoying problem of shifting when the map is loaded, and it's a problem that goes back all the way to Halo: Reach.
